Artist Statement:

Many layers are assembled here, each mostly overlapping the previous one, but allowing for some space to see what is beneath. At the bottom, underneath a spiral, is stitched the text seen below. As we explore our inner being, there is a sense of 'going deeper'. I find myself probing to the core, hoping to open the pathway which will lead to a satisfying of the yearning to be loved, to find peace.
